This is our working version while it is finalized with legal counsel. It describes how we operate today; if it changes we will update the date above.
This policy explains what personal information La Catrina Marketing LLC dba Sell Your Grail (“Sell Your Grail”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, Sell Your Grail Office, Sell Your Grail Desk and the Gold Calculator (together, the “Services”), how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what we need to run the Services, we do not sell personal information, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
This website
The invite request form does not send anything to our servers. It opens your own email app with your name, business, email and product interest filled in; we receive that information only if you send the email. If you write to us, we receive whatever you include. This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics tools or cookies. It stores one setting in your browser (your light or dark theme choice) so the page looks the way you left it; that setting never leaves your device. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
Sell Your Grail Office
Office is an invite-only back office for dealers at office.sellyourgrail.com. We collect account details for invited users (such as name, business and email) and store the business data you choose to enter, including your customer, inventory and transaction records. That data belongs to you; we process it on your behalf to provide Office to you.
Sell Your Grail Desk
Desk is an invite-only sourcing tool. When you connect it (by linking your phone and/or using our Chrome extension), Desk reads messages in the WhatsApp and Telegram dealer groups you are already a member of, so it can surface listings for you. This can include message text, images, and the names or phone numbers of group participants as they appear to you. We use that content only to provide your sourcing results to you; we do not use it to contact group members, and we do not sell or share it with other users.
Gold Calculator
The free Gold Calculator requires registration before use. We collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and your choice on the checkbox consenting to be contacted. We also collect anonymous usage statistics: a device identifier generated by the app and usage events such as app launches. This information is stored privately in a database hosted by Railway, a US cloud hosting provider.
How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the Services, including verifying invitations and registrations.
- To respond to your questions and invite requests.
- To understand how the Services are used (for example, how often the calculator is opened) so we can improve them.
- To contact you about the Services, where you agreed to be contacted.
- To comply with law and protect our rights and our users.
Contact consent and opting out
When you register for the Gold Calculator, you can check a box agreeing that we may contact you by email, phone or text about Sell Your Grail products. You can withdraw that consent at any time: reply STOP to any text message, use the opt-out instructions in any email, or email info@sellyourgrail.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages we need to send about your account or a request you made.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers and third parties
- Hosting: Railway (US cloud hosting) stores and runs our applications and databases.
- Payments: we do not take payments today. If we add paid plans, payments will be processed by Stripe, and card details will go to Stripe rather than to us.
- WhatsApp and Telegram: Desk works with your existing WhatsApp and Telegram accounts. Those services are run by other companies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as your account or registration is active, or as needed to provide the Services, and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal and record-keeping purposes. You can ask us to delete your account, registration or data at any time by emailing info@sellyourgrail.com. We will confirm your request and delete or de-identify the information unless we are legally required to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and private databases, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password, keep your login private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
The Services are for businesses and adults. They are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA, and other US states with similar laws), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose;
- access or get a copy of it;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it);
- not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@sellyourgrail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will offer the same choices to all users wherever practical.
International users
We are based in the United States and our data is hosted in the US. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for significant changes we will give additional notice, such as by email or in the product.
